BRIDGEPORT ?
A Florida man placed hundreds of harassing calls to employees at the Travelers insurance company, including voice messages saying he hopes God will kill them, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Connecticut said on Friday.
Brent Q. Hansen, of Seminole, Fla., pleaded guilty Friday to one count of making harassing phone calls.
Hansen left 270 messages for workers, the office said in a news release. In the messages, he repeatedly said that the employees were cursed, that God would damn their souls, and that he hoped God will kill them, the release states.
He faces a maximum of two years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000. He is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 18.
The FBI investigated.
